Hot-air balloon safaris
Float over the plains at sunrise, then land for a bush breakfast.
A sunrise balloon flight over the Serengeti plains is one of the most memorable ways to see Tanzania. You rise before dawn, watch the light spread across the grassland and drift silently over herds, rivers and acacia woodland.
Flights usually last about an hour and finish with a champagne-style bush breakfast where you land. Balloon flights are an optional extra, are weather dependent and need to be booked in advance, so tell us early if you would like to include one.
